|
Mix flour, sugar, salt and cocoa.
Gradually add milk, cook over medium heat. Stirring constantly until it thickens and boils. Cook 2 mins more.

Remove from heat, add small amount to egg yolks to temper. Stir into remaining hot mixture.
Place back on heat and cook one minute stirring constantly.
Add vanilla and butter and cool slightly.

Pour into pie shell.
Allow to cool.
Beat egg whites and 6 T sugar to high peaks.

|
|
Cover the pie with eggs.
Bake 12 to 15 mins in 350 degree oven.
For coconut Add 1 c coconut to filling and use 1/2 c on top of pie.
