     Sugar Topped Brownie Cake

1 3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in large bowl. Add milk, margarine, egg and vanilla. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
Spread batter into greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar then with chocolate chips.
Bake 30 - 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool completely
