1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
2 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs plus 1 egg white
1 cup milk
2 cups finely chopped strawberries
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together flours, baking powder, and salt. In a
separate bowl, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add
whole eggs, and the egg white one at a time, beating
well after each one.
Add flour mixture in two batches, alternating with
the milk, beating well until combined. Fold in
strawberries.
Bake 25-30 minutes.
