Ingredients
abt 40 uncooked chicken wings
1/2 c cornstarch
1/2 cup flour
salt and pepper to taste
cooking vegetable oil
SAUCE-
1 cup of peeled sliced ginger
3/4 cup water

3/4 cups of packed brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs sesame oil
1/2 cup corn syrup

Instructions
Season chicken wings with salt and pepper (not too much). Mix 1/2 cup corn starch and 1/2 cup flour in ziploc bag. Place chicken in bag with flour and starch and shake to coat Deep fry chicken in approx three inches of oil. Fry for 15 minutes and take out to cool for about five minutes. Deep fry again for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Boil ginger in water and add other sauce ingredients and cook on high heat. Add corn syrup and cook on low heat until thickens. Dip fried chicken in sauce and let sit for a while to penetrate. It looks and tastes better if it sits for a while.
