CRUST- Combine all ingredients in saucepan over medium heat. Cook until thick and quite stiff, about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Set aside 3/4 cup. Line sides and bottom of a buttered 1 1/2 qt casserole with the rest of the mixture.
FILLING- Combine all ingredients except cheese in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until hot. Pour into casserole on top of crust. Top with remaining crust mixture, dropped by spoonfuls. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a 350 oven for about 25 minutes.
