Add eggs and stir well. Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder then add to wet mixture. Stir well.
Spread mixture evenly into greased 9x9inch (22x22cm) pan. Bake in 350F (175C) oven for 30 minutes. Cover it with foil and bake for a further 20 minutes until wooden pick inserted in the centre comes out moist but not wet with batter. Do not overbake. Discard foil. Let stand in pan on wire rack until almost cooled.
