Ingredients
1 stick of butter
3/4 cup of self-rising flour
3/4 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of milk
16 oz. of Blackberries (frozen or fresh)

Instructions
Melt the stick of butter in a 2 qt. Baking dish (preferably glass and approx. 8x10x3) Mix self-rising flour, milk, and sugar together in a mixing bowl Place blackberries and a cup and a half of water in a small pot and lightly heat Once the butter has melted, pour the flour mix into the baking dish on top of the butter. Spread the flour mix out evenly and lightly mix it with the butter. Spoon berries (and their juice) evenly around the baking dish on top of the whole flour/butter mixture. Set in oven heated to 350 for 35 to 45 minutes. Take out when the top is browned good. Tear it up with some vanilla ice cream.
