60 Hershey's Classic Caramels (traditional or chocolate creme-filled), unwrapped
6 wooden popsicle sticks
2 T. Water
Instructions
Generously butter 6 paper muffin cups, 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Insert wooden stick into stem end of each thoroughly dried apple.
In medium microwave-safe bowl, place caramels and water. Microwave at HIGH 1 minute;stir. Microwave additional 30 to 45 seconds until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth.
Dip apples into warm mixture; turn until coated. Scrape off excess coating; place into prepared papers. If necessary, warm coating by microwaving additional 15 seconds at a time. Refrigerate until firm; store, covered, in a cool place.
Caramel Apple Dip- Unwrap 30 Hershey's Classic Caramels; place in small microwave-safe bowl with 1 T. water. Microwave at High 30 seconds; stir. Microwave additional 30 seconds or until melted and smooth when stirred. Serve immediately with apple slices. About 1/2 dip.
