     Hummus

Ingredients
1 Can Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans - skinned or not
1/3 Cup Tahini
1 Lemon - Juiced - pinch over 1 TBL juice
2 TBLS Olive Oil
2 TBLS Garlic - minced
1/2 Cup Yoghurt or Sour Cream
1 1/2 Tsp Kosher Salt
2 TBLS water (only if too thick)
1 tsp. cumin
 
Additional Ingredients to taste
3 TBLS sundried Tomatoes
2 tsp. Parsley - chopped
1 tsp Celery seed powder
1/2 tsp. Oregano
1/4 tsp. Cayenne Powder
1/4 tsp mint - crushed
1/4 tsp paprika

Instructions
Tahini first, blend on high 1 minute. Then add Lemon Juice, blend for 30 seconds. Add yoghurt, blend for 1 minute. Add Olive Oil, blend for 1 minute. Add garlic, blend for 1 minute. Add salt and cumin, blend for another minute. Add half of the chick peas, blend for 1 minute. Add the remaining chickpeas and blend for 1 to 2 minutes.
Sprinkle with Paprika and chill.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with Pita bread and warm olive oil.
