     Dungeness Crab Meat Bisque

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
4 cups uncooked corn - fresh or frozen
4 cups milk
1/4 teas. curry powder
salt and pepper
3 tblsp flour
1 cup cream or half and half
1 pound crab meat separated - dungeness
1/4 cup chopped onion
 

Instructions
Saute onion in butter until tender. Add curry powder and flour. Cook 2 minutes. Add corn to onion mixture and cook about five more minutes.
Add cream, milk, salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer. Add in crab meat pieces. Simmer 5-10 minutes.
Control thickness by simmering longer to reduce.
