Crust- Combine salt and flour. Add shortening and
cut in with pastry blender. Add ice water, divide
in half and roll out. Line 2 pie plates.
Arrange apples in pie shell. Combine 1/2 cup of
sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples.
Combine remaining sugar and flour, cut in butter,
and sprinkle on top and bake at 400 degrees for 40
minutes.
