     Midwest Chili

Ingredients
1 can tomato soup, 1/2 can water
1-15 oz. can tomato sauce, 1/2 can water
1-15 oz. can crushed tomatoes, 1/2 can water
3 - 15 oz cans Brooks chili hot beans
3 T. chili pwd
2 lbs. ground beef
1 chopped onion
salt and pepper
 

Instructions
Combine burger and onion and cook until burger is browned and onion is soft. Drain.
Add crushed tomatoes, water and spices. Cook 30 min.
Add remaining ingredients and water. Heat through and reseason.
I made this chili for a cook-off at my church and it won. My friends and family from the midwest ALWAYS LOVE IT! However, I made it for a group that grew up in Texas and they didn't think it was anything special. Hense the name MIDWEST chili --)
Serving Suggestions
Garnish with cheese and sour cream.
