     Double Fudge Saucepan Brownies

Ingredients
1/2 c. sugar
2 T. butter
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1 t. vanilla
1/4 t. baking soda
2 T water
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 t. salt
 
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions
Heat oven to 325. Grease 9 inch square baking dish. In medium saucepan, over low heat, cook sugar, butter and water, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and immediately add 1 c. chocolate chips, stirring until chips are melted.
Stir in eggs and vanilla until blended.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt; stir into chocolate mixture. Stir in remaining 1 c. chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 min or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely
