     Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
1 1/2 c packed brown sugar
1 T cornstarch
1 c light cream
2 T butter
 

Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Add cream and butter. Cook and stir mixture until it boils. Reduce heat and simmer 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally, or till mixture thickens. Serve over cream puffs or ice cream. Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
