2 c. sugar

1/2 t. salt

2 t. cinnamon

1 t. baking soda

1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

3 eggs
|
|
1 c. salad oil
|
|
1 t. vanilla
|
|
|
|
4 c. thinly sliced apples (3 1/2-4 medium apples, peeled and cored)

Icing-
|
|
6 oz cream cheese
|
|
2 T. melted butter
|
|
1 t. vanilla
|
|
2 c. pwd sugar
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Combine all dry ingredients and mix well.
|
|
|
In seperate bowl combine eggs, oil and vanilla.
Add to dry ingredients and stir.
Fold in apples.

Spread in greased and floured 13x9 baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 50-60 min.
Cool and frost.
|
|
|
ICING-
Combine cheese, butter and vanilla.
Add pwd sugar and blend until smooth.
Spread on cooled cake.
