Pre-heat oven to 350. While the oven is heating up, remove the tops from the beats and scrub beets.

Wrap each beet in aluminum foil. Place wrapped beets on a baking pan, and into the oven they go.
Grandma would rub each beet with a little oil before wrapping.

|
After about an hour poke them with a fork. If they can be easly pierced, they're done.
Remove from oven and allow to cool
|
|
|
Unwrap the beets and use you fingers to peel. If the peel is hard to remove, rewrap with foil and roast for another 10 min. Cut up and use with your recipes.
