     Brussel Sprouts-Italian Style

1 lb. fresh brussel sprouts
1/2 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 teaspoons basalmic vinegar
1 tablespoon extra vrigin olive oil
1 clove garlic-minced
2 tablespoons shaved Parmesan cheese

Trim the ends from the brussel sprouts snd cut each sprout into quarters. Heat water in a medium nonstick skillet. Add brussel sprouts. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook, uncovered, over medium high heat, stirring frequently about 10 minutes or until just tender and liquid has evaporated. (If any liquid still exists, drain).
Whisk mustard, lemon juice, vinegar, olive oil and garlic together. Toss brussel sprouts together with dressing. Shave Parmesan cheese over top.
