Mix hamburger meat with egg, minced onion and garlic. Add salt,
pepper, worceshire sauce and canadian steak seasoning to desired
seasoning. Add bread crumbs until patties are a firm consistancy.
Shape into 4 patties. Fry in iron skillet.
Remove patties from skillet. Add onion, garlic and bay leaf to meat
drippings. Sautee until vegetables are soft over med low heat.
Add enough flour to thicken gravy (approx 1/4 cup?). Brown flour for
a few minutes. Add beef broth slowly, stirring to dissolve flour.
Crush diced tomatoes and add to gravy. Add worceshire sauce and
seasoning to taste. Stir and cook over medium heat until gravy is
thick. Cook for 2 additional minutes or more if desired.
Serve over hamburger steaks.
