Combine first seven (7) ingredients in a container of an electric blender. Cover and process until smooth. With blender running, add oil in a slow, steady stream. Process just until blended; set dressing mixture aside (refrigerate until ready to use).
Wash beans; trim ends, and remove strings. Cook beans in a small amount of boiling salted water 15 to 20 minutes or until tender; drain. OR Use frozen grean beans (long) and skip this step.
Arrange beans on a serving platter. Pour reserved dressing mixture over beans. Top with pimiento, 1 ounce crumbled blue cheese, and crumbled bacon. Serve and enjoy!
Some notes- This is a beautiful presentation / classic holiday favorite. Easy to make the dressing ahead of time; substitute frozen green beans for fresh beans and zap them in the microwave; add the toppings and sit back to hear the oohs and awes!

Best presentation arrange the green beans on a flat plate or shallow baking dish. Run the blue cheese and toppings down the center.
