     Layered Salad

Ingredients
1 head crisp lettuce
1 cup diced celery
4 hard boiled eggs-sliced
1 can small green peas drained
1 red onion diced
1/2 cup bell pepper diced
10 to 12 slices cooked bacon crumbled
 

Instructions
Break lettuce apart and place in a 9x12 pyrex dish. place remaining items in order listed reserving 2 slices of the bacon for the top.
Mix 2 cups mayonnaise and 2 Tablespoons sugar. Place over the top of salad like icing on a cake. Crumble remaining 2 slices of bacon over the top. Cover securely and place in refrigerator overnight.
Serving Suggestions
This salad can be used as a complete meal. Just add garlic bread.
