     Mom's Bread Stuffing

Servings   5 cups

Ingredients
1 1/2 c chopped celery
3/4 c chopped onion
3/4 c margarine or butter
9 c soft bread cubes
1 t salt
2 t ground sage
1/2 t thyme
1/4 t pepper
heart, gizzard and neck from chicken or turkey
 
chicken broth to taste

Instructions
Simmer turkey parts in seasoned water until tender, 1 to 2 hours. Drain, chop. Set aside.
Cook and stir celery and onion in butter in dutch oven until celery is tender; remove from heat. Stir in all remaining ingredients.
