Crust - With an electric mixer at low speed, beat together the
butter, confectioners' sugar and flour. Beat until the mixture is like
course meal. Pour this mixture into the buttered baking pan. Press
mixture evenly onto the bottom of the baking pan to form the
crust. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven.

Topping - Beat together the eggs, baking powder, lemon juice,
lemon rind and 1/4 cup flour. Beat until light and fluffy. Pour this
mixture over the baked crust. Bake another 25 minutes. Cool pan
for 1/2 hour, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, and cut into
squares.
