     Robb Family Holiday Slush

Category   Beverages
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
2 c cold water
2 c sugar
2 c cold water
1/4 c lemon juice
1 can pineapple tidbits plus juice
1 pkg frozen blueberries
1 pkg frozen raspberries
1 pkg frozen boysenberries or blackberries
3-4 bananas, sliced in thick slices and quartered

Instructions
Make lemon ice several days in advance- Boil together, stirring, 2 cups cold water and 2 cups sugar. Remove from heat. Add 2 cups cold water and lemon juice. Put into containers and freeze (Cool Whip bowls work nicely).
One hour prior to serving, remove lemon ice from freezer and dump into punch bowl. On top of ice, pour pineapple tidbits, blueberries, raspberries, and boysenberries or blackberries. Let sit for 40 mins or until starts to soften, then chop into slush. When all mixed, add 3-4 bananas sliced in thick slices and quartered. Stir and serve immediately.
Some like to add sprite for more liquid, but our family loves the slush texture. You can use any berries and any quantity your family enjoys, but we have found strawberries don't work well.
