     Beef Brisket & Jerky Marinade

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
2 tbsp liquid smoke
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 cup barbeque sauce

Instructions
Line a baking dish at least two inches in depth with a large piece of heavy foil. (I have to crisscross in order to cover the meat). Place brisket in dish and pour mixed ingredients over meat (I rub it into the meat, but it’s not necessary). Seal foil tightly around meat; marinate in refrigerator overnight. (I’ve had to cheat on this when unexpected company arrives---I’ve put it all together and put into oven. Not as great tasting, but still tasted good).
Bake at 300 degrees for 5 hours, tightly wrapped in foil. Open foil the last half hour and pour on cup of your favorite barbeque sauce over top and finish baking with foil open.
Remove from oven and let set for a few minutes. I slice mine very thin before serving. This is good anytime and makes great leftovers.
