     Miss Laurie's Key Lime Pie

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups smashed graham crackers(well into crumb stage)
3 TB sugar
5 TB butter, melted
2 whole eggs
2 14-oz. cans of sweetened condensed milk
1 cup key lime juice
 

Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Stir butter into the cracker/sugar mixture and press into the bottom and sides of a pie dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. Then let sit and cool. Turn oven heat down to 325 degrees.
Beat the eggs and mix with the condensed milk and lime juice. Pour mixture into the COOLED pie crust and bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Transfer the pie to the fridge for at least 2 hours, and serve with homemade whipped cream!
Make sure you keep pie in fridge for at least 2 hours after it is baked-- it needs to harden a bit or it will have a bit of a yogurt type consistency!
