     Shrimp and Crab Chowder

Category   Salads - Soups - Sidedishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   6

Ingredients
2 tablespoons margarine
1 8oz package cream cheese, diced
1 cup milk
3 potatoes, cubed
12 medium frozen raw shrimp, thawed
3 sticks fake crab meat
2 tablespoons dry white wine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning

1 cup frozen corn
1 can cream of shrimp soup
1 can cream of celery soup

Instructions
Boil thawed shrimp for about three minutes. Drain under cold water to stop the cooking process. Cut shrimp into bite size pieces. Also cut the crab meat into bite size pieces.
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add cream cheese and milk. Stir over low heat until cream cheese is completely melted. While cream cheese is melting, boil water in a separate saucepan and place the cubed potatoes in the water.
Once cream cheese is melted, add cream of shrimp, cream of celery, corn, white wine, salt, and Old Bay seasoning. Allow to cook, stirring until mixture is smooth.
When potatoes are almost done, drain and place in soup mixture. Also, add shrimp and crab. If soup seems too thick, add a little water. Heat, stirring occassionaly, and serve.
