     Beef and Potato Bake

Ingredients
4 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound ground beef
1 package brown gravy mix
2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 package (10 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
 
1 can french fried onions

Instructions
Combine potatoes, oil and pepper. Press in bottom and sides of baking dish to form shell. Bake, uncovered at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
Brown beef, drain. Stir in gravy mix, water and garlic salt, bring to boil. Add vegetables, reduce to medium and cook five minutes.
Stir in 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 can onions. Place in potato shell. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and onions. Bake 5 minutes longer.
