     Domestic Goddess Lava Cakes

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1/4 cup soft unsalted butter
12 oz. bittersweet or semisweet chocolate
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup flour

Instructions
Heat oven to 400. Melt the chocolate and let it cool slightly (but don't add until the end). When stirring, make sure to just use a fork and not an electric mixture or the consistency will be wrong.
Cream together the butter and sugar. Gradually beat in the eggs and vanilla (add a pinch of salt if you want but I leave it out). Add the flour and then blend in the chocolate.
Spray nonstick stuff on the pans and pour the chocolate mixture in. Place tins on a baking sheet and cook for 8-12 minutes.
The middle of the cake should be darker and look uncooked when you remove it. Let them cool a minute or two then flip the tin over into a bowl to get them out.
Serving Suggestions
They are best served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a bit of whip cream, red and blue berries, and chocolate sauce
