     Irish Soda Bread

Ingredients
3 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar
1 tbs baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
11/2 cups raisins
2 beaten eggs
1 3/4 cup buttermilk
2 tbs melted butter
 
Instructions
sift dry ingredients. Stir in raisins. Combine eggs, buttermilk and melted butter. Stir all ingredients by hand till well mixed.
Grease 2 9inch loaf pans or 1 large loaf pan. Pour in batter and bake at 350F for 1 hr. Remove from pan and cool.
