Ingredients
2 c basil leaves – packed
¼ c. grated parmesan cheese
½ c. olive oil
3 T sunflower seeds (MUCH cheaper than pine nuts!)
3 garlic cloves
 

Instructions
Pack basdil (I include tender stems too) in blender. Add oil and garlic and blend on pulse. Keep scraping and pushing it down.
Add sunflower seeds and parmesan cheese. Keep blending until it’s a smooth paste. Add more oil as needed.
Freeze in small containers or ice cube trays. Pop the frozen cubes out of the tray and put in a zippered bag or Tupperware.
