Add rice and seasoning packet; cook for 3 mins, stirring constantly. Add chicken broth, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25 mins. Remove from heat; let stand, covered, for 5 mins. Fluff rice with a fork. Add parsley and pepper, stirring to combine.
