     Pretzel Salad

Ingredients
2/3 cup coarsley crushed shaped pretzels
1 Tbs Sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 small container cool whip
3/4 cup sugar
3 cups boiling water
1 lg strawberry or raspberry jello
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
1 quart fresh strawberries or raspberries
 
you may use frozen if necessary

Instructions
Cream margarine, sugar and pretzels. Press in 9x13 pan and bake 10 min @ 350.
Mix cream cheese and sugar. Add coolwhip and spread over pretzel layer. Seal sides well.
Make jello with water and allow to thicken. Add strawberries or raspberries. Pour over cheese mixture and refrigerate till set.
Serving Suggestions
This is a must every Easter.
