3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter or margarine
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar (1 pound)
4 egg yolks beaten
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup shredded coconut
4 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Beat egg whites, set aside Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, add egg yolks and mix well. Add dry ingredient alternately with milk, beating after each addition until smooth. Add vanilla and coconut. Carefully fold in egg whites, bake in three greased 9 inch cake pans at 375 for 25 minutes. Cool.
Use vanilla cream pie filling with coconut to add in between layers. Cover with fluffy marshmallow frosting
