Ingredients
2 Cups Self Raisin Flour
1 Cup Sugar
4 oz Margarine
2 Tablespoons Golden Syrup
1 Teaspoon Ginger
1/2 Teaspoon Bicarbanate Soda
1 Egg
1 Cup of Boiling Milk
 

Instructions
Put all ingredients into a bowl and add Milk.
Whisk until smooth and pour into lined tin
Bake at Reg 2 for 1 hour 10 minutes on the middle shelf
Do not open oven door for 1 hour or cake will sink inthe middle
Serving Suggestions
Sliced for afternoon tea
