     Georgia Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
2 cups sliced peaches
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
3/4 cup milk
 

Instructions
Set oven to 350°. Melt butter in baking dish (using 1/2 sugar) flour, milk, badking powder, salt. Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. Mix peaches with remaining sugar. Pour on top of batter. Do not stir.
Bake 1 hour, batter will rise to top and be crisp and brown when done.
