     Brandied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
Sweet potatoes
1 cup Brown sugar
1/3 c water
3 tblsp water
1/4 c brandy
 

Instructions
Wash sweet potatoes. Do not peel. Boil in water to cover until barely soft. (About 20 minutes). Drain cool & peel. Slice into greased casserole. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring to a boil- 1 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup water, 3 tblsp butter. Add ¼ cup brandy. Pour mixture over sliced potatoes. Bake uncovered 30-40 minutes basting often.
