In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon; stir until the sugar is melted.
Stir in the bananas and rum; cook 2 - 3 mins, or until heated through. Scoop the ice cream into serving bowls and top with the banana mixture. Serve immediately.
