Instructions |

Preheat oven to 325.
Mix sugar, salt, flour and soda.
|

Bring to boil butter, crisco, cocoa, water. Pour over dry ingredients.

Add eggs (beaten), buttermilk, vanilla, and pecans (optional).
Bake 35 mins.
