     Pumpkin Dutch Apple Pie

Ingredients
Apple Layer-
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell with high fluted edges
2 med-size green apples, peeled and thinkly sliced
( about 2 cups)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
 
Pumpkin Layer-
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup Libbys Solid Pack Pumpkin
1 cup carnation evaporated milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions
For Apple Layer- Combine apples with sugar, flour, lemon juice, and cinnamon in mediumb bowl, place in pie shell.
For Pumpkin Layer- Combine eggs, pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, butter, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg in medium bowl, pour over apples.
Bake in preheated 37 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with Crumble Topping. Bake 20 minutes more or until custard is set. Cool on wire rack. Makes 8 servings.
For Crumble Topping- Combine- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/3 cp chopped walnuts 5 tbsp granulated sugar in medium bowl. Cut in 3 tbsp butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until crumbly.
