     Pecan Pie

2/3 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup pecan halves
1 9 inch pie crust (I like to use a graham cracker crust!)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. If using a graham cracker crust, cook in foil pan. If using a flour crust, use a glass baking dish.
Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter and syrup with mixer.
Stir in nuts and pour into pan.
Bake 40-50 minutes or until the center doesn't jiggle too freely. Its not a bad idea to cover the crust with aluminum foil to keep the crust from burning.
