     Easy Rice Pilaf

Ingredients
1 1/2 c uncooked long-grain rice
2 c water
1/2 c dry white wine
1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed chicken broth, undiluted
(1.25 oz) env. onion soup mix
1 tsp dried whole basil
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp butter
 

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a lightly greased 12/8/2 baking dish/ stir well.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Serves 8.
