     Layered TAco Bean Dip

Ingredients
2 cans (16 oz) refried beans
1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies, drained
1 envelope (1 1/4 oz) taco seasoning mix
2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 jar (16 oz) Taco sauce (med or hot) (divided )
1 1/2 cup sour cream
3 cups shredded lettuce
1 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
 
black olive slices
chopped tomatoes (optional)
tortilla chips

Instructions
In medium bowl mix together Refried beans, green chilies and taco seasoning mix. Spread on a 12-inch platter. Blend avocados, lemon juice and 1/2 cup taco sauce until smooth. Spread on top of bean mixture. Spread sour cream on top of avocado mixture. Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, taco sauce, olive slices and chopped tomato.
Serve with Tortilla Chips.
I usually omit the avocados and just use the taco sauce for that layer.
