Mix all ingredients and place in container. Let stand overnight in a warm place. Cover with lid, but not tightly.
Refrigerate, covered, but stir everyday.
The 5th day you have to feed HERMAN with -
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar.
On the 10th day you can bake with HERMAN.
