In a large bowl, cream together shortening and sugars. Add eggs, HERMAN, and milk. Mix well.
Add dry ingredients and vanilla; mix well.
Last, add oats, pecans and chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
