Combine mayo, horseradish, and pepper in a small bowl, stirring with a spoon. Top the bottom half of each bun with the roast beef, then horseradish sauce, then barbecue sauce.
Place under panini press until sandwich is warmed through and bun is nicely grilled. Serve immediately.
