Preptime   30 minutes

Ingredients
1 lb of hot sausage
1/2 cup flour
1 1/4 cups of milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions
Sausage gravy is made from pan drippings left over from frying sausage, then the sausage is crumbled into the gravy and served over hot biscuits.
In a 10-inch cast iron skillet over medium heat, cook crumbled sausage until done, 8 minutes.
Remove from heat and drain on paper towels, reserving 8 tbs of drippings.
Put drippings back back into skillet, increase heat to high and whisk in flour, salt, and pepper. Stir until flour is golden brown. Then add milk, stirring until gravy is desired thickness. Stir drained sausage in stirring until heated through. Serve hot on biscuits.
