Cook pasta al dente
In large skillet heat olive oil over medium high heat. Stir in the sausage until crumbly and no longer pink. Stir in garlic until sausage browns. Pour off excess grease then add chicken broth and crushed red pepper. Bring to a boil over high heat, then add broccoli and cover. Cook for 5 minutes. Stir in butter, parmesan cheese and salt & pepper until sauce thickens. Toss with the bowtie pasta.
