     Tom Collum's Scottish Shortbread

Ingredients
2 sticks salted butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
 

Instructions
Heat oven to 300 degrees. Mix butter and sugar, then add flour.
Place in 9 by 13 inch pyrex and mark squares the way you want them.not all the way through.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Let cool completely, a couple of hours, before cutting and serving.
