Meanwhile in a covered large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage in 2 tbsp water for 5 minutes. Remove cover and brown sausage well, about 15 minutes. Add potato and cabbage, salt and pepper to sausage, cook 5 minutes longer or until vegetables are thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
