Cover cabbage leaves in boiling water, let stand 5 min. drain and set aside. Combine beef, rice , onion, egg and seasoning and mix well. Place equal portions of meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf. Fold sides over , roll up and fasten with tooth picks.
Heat oil in large skillet over med. heat. Add rolls and saute until golden brown. Pour tomato sauce into skillet. Combine brown sugar, water and lemon juice, stir into tomato sauce. Cover and simmer for one hour. Basting occasionaly.
